Pythies is the solo “bitchy grunge” project conceived and embodied by Lise.L (formerly of Romance). Drawing on the raw energy of 90s grunge—Veruca Salt, PJ Harvey, Sonic Youth, Hole—the project sculpts a tense, sensual sound charged with an esoteric aura.

Since 2023, Pythies has been making its mark on stages across Europe and the United States, offering performances that combine provocation, punk intensity, and an unapologetic feminist vision.
