Pythies is a “bitchy grunge” trio from Paris founded by Lise.L (formerly of Romance).

The project is run exclusively by women and features a grunge aesthetic inspired by the 90s (Veruca Salt, PJ Harvey, Sonic Youth, Hole) and a committed feminist message.

Since 2023, the band has been touring Europe and the United States. Pythies blends sensuality and punk, grunge and esotericism, feminism and provocation. Driven by dissonant, grungy melodies, Pythies draws on all the feminist and esoteric underground culture you could ever fantasize about.
